It is wonderful to see your precious faces in the photos. sounds like you are drinking in all that life has to offer. How wonderful! Thank you for letting us travel with you . . . remember you are missed and loved at Rivendell. Your descriptions created sweet images in my head of the party you had on Children's Day. Can truly imagine you there with broad smiles and with the beautiful faces of the kids looking up at you both.

I had no idea you guys were off to Guatamala, but then there was an email saying you'd arrived, and Jay filled me in on the rest at Heidi's wedding.
I talked to Rod, from Arusha, the other day on the phone, and conversation discovered that we are mutual friends of yours!
I ramble... all to say, I'm glad you have a blog so we can keep up. Enjoy your beaches. Buffalo grows cold, and friday predicts snow...

Oh I love your pictures! Is studying Spanish a good excuse for a nice long vacation in an exotic place? :) If so, you are definitely the smartest people I know. I'm so glad you're having such a wonderful experience. Lots of ocean and biking here in the PNW too! Live it up for all of us!
